Prior to doctors becoming plastic surgeons, they are trained medical doctors who eventually specialize in the art of plastic surgery, cosmetic or reconstructive, most likely both. In order to be able to practice as surgeons, they must be board certified and then licensed in their specific field. Our three plastic surgeons, Dr. Ersek, Dr. Narset and Dr. Buckspan, have a varied background, but all hold years of experience in the art of cosmetic surgery.
